Recommended Replacement for Fulton XLT1401 Trailer Winch

Question:

What would be the best replacement winch for the xlt 1401. Its going on a 2013 ranger trail trailer.

In order to replace the Fulton XLT1401 Trailer Winch I recommend using the Fulton F2 Fully Enclosed Trailer Winch part # FW20000301 which will actually be an upgrade for you. The added weight capacity is going to put less stress on the winch which in turn improves longevity. This winch also has an adjustable length handle for ergonomics, fully enclosed shell for durability, and an easy to use pawl.

D I the bolt patterns match the XLT1401.

@TomB The Fulton # FW20000301 winch uses the same industry standard bolt patter as the discontinued XLT1401. This is 2-1/4" center to center of the lower two mounting holes, and 4-1/2" from the center of the upper bolt hole to the center of either two lower bolt hole as shown in the picture of the link below.
