Question:
Im building a new kitchen cabinet for our RV and wondering if this hose can be shortened? If so what is the best method and are there any extra parts I need to order? Or can I keep this hose full length and simpy have a loop in the hose to take up the extra length although Im concerned the sink wont drain from the built up pressure in the hose.?

The Camco RV Drain Hose w/ Drain Trap and Evacuation Flange - 3/4" Diameter - 25" Long # CAM37420 is not designed to be shortened. The tube is flexible and will allow for the extra length which will also help with the sink not backing up. If you choose to use a shorter hose, you would just cut of the current 7/8 inch outer diameter hose and use a hose and hose clamps of a 7/8 inch inner diameter to get the desired length.
