LP11CB Compatibility with 24V System and 1251 Light Bulb

Question:
Can a 1251 light bulb which is a 24 volt double filament be used with the LP11CB.

The Optronics Snap-In License Plate light, # LP11CB uses the A-67 single filament bulb for 12V applications so the 1251 bulb would be the correct replacement to use in a 24V application with this housing based on my research.
