Which 2 Trailer Hitch Has the Most Ground Clearance on a 2010 Toyota Sienna XLE
Updated 04/04/2018 | Published 04/03/2018 >
Question:
Im seeing conflicting information on this site regarding ground clearance. Id like to purchase a 2inch Class III hitch. One page says the Curt has 1/2inch more clearance, and another page says the DrawTite has the best clearance for my vehicle: Which hitch has the absolute best clearance for my 2010 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD?

We currently have two different 2" trailer hitch receivers for your 2010 Toyota Sienna XLE which are the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13105 and the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75237.
When we tested the Curt hitch on a 2010 Toyota Sienna LE we found that the distance from the ground to the top of the inside edge on the trailer hitch receiver is 11-1/4". When we tested the Draw-Tite hitch on that very same 2010 Toyota Sienna LE we found that the distance from the ground to the top of the inside edge on the trailer hitch receiver is 11". Therefore, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver will offer the most ground clearance.
Please keep in mind that the vehicle we tested either hitch on was not an XLE therefore the measurements may be different when installed on your vehicle but the above statement still holds true no matter the sub model.
