Question:
Hello, I am trying to do a over, under axle swap on a camper with tandem Dexter axles. I see that you have kits for a 2-3/8inch axle, and a 3. My axle Measures around 2-5/8 inch. Do I use 3inch kit ?

Expert Reply:
Dexter doesn't make a 2-5/8 inch axle, so you most likely have a 2-3/8 inch axle that may have some road debris built up and would need # K71-384-00. If your axles are truly larger than that, I recommend you use the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-385-00 which is made for 3 inch axle diameters but you may need some custom welding for the correct fit.
