Question:

Awhile back I purchased a Hopkins Reliance No 47285 brake controller, but changed my mind and now I want to install it into my 1999 Ford F250 Super Duty which has the trailer package installed. Will the Hopkin Plug-In Simple wiring harness No. HM47845 work with the 99 F250 and the Hopkins Reliance No 47285 controller? Also, the controller does not have the female flat quick connect, only the 4 loose wires from the controller. Do you have a flat quick connect that I could attach to the controller wires? Thanks.

You can install your Hopkins Reliance hardwire-type trailer brake controller in your 1999 Ford F-250 by using harness part # HM47715. Just cut off the flat connector, splice the wires to your Reliance color for color using butt connectors like # DW05745-5 and plug it in to the under-dash port as shown in the linked video.
