Question:

I recently purchased an old 1992 Brush Bandit, it has a pintle hook up now. I want to convert to a 2 1/2 ball. The Bulldog looks right but no specs. really mentioned. I need a mounting width no greater than 2 13/16 inches, two 5/8 bolts holes with a 2 inch distance bolt center to bolt center and last bolt center to channel back approx. 7/8 inch. If these measurements are close to it, I will get an order in. The 2 inch Bulldog shows 2 inch bolt centers but I need 2 1/2 ball. Thank-You

The Bulldog Cast Head Coupler w/ Wedge Latch, part # BDA256C0317, is for a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball.

I went out to the warehouse and measured the Bulldog coupler. The two bolts are 5/8 inch bolts and the distance between the upper and lower bolt holes, center-to-center, is 2 inches. The bolt holes do measure 7/8 inch from the center of the bolt holes to the back of the coupler.

The width of the coupler actually measured with a digital caliper was 2.843 inches, which is 2-27/32 inches. So it does measure a little larger than 2-13/16 inches, but with the other dimensions matching the dimensions you needed this coupler should work for your application.
