Question:

What is the right base plate to use on a 2014 grand Cherokee overland 6 cyl ? I still have the setup from my old 2000 grand Cherokee. Am sure I can not use that one correct ? Also, can I use the s that hook up to the falcon on a new base plate, maybe I can save some money that way. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thx

Since you already have a Falcon tow bar I recommend going with Roadmaster base plates. You're correct that the old ones from your 2000 Jeep aren't going to fit. Both the EZ4 # RM-521440-4 and EZ5 # RM-521440-5 kits will work on your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. The biggest difference between the two is that the EZ5 doesn't need the Falcon's crossbar when you hook up.

If you also need wiring for the Jeep's lights and a braking system I recommend the diode kit for the lights, part # RM-15267 and the Stay-IN-Play DUO, part # SM99251, for the brakes.

This is probably all you need since you have the tow bar and likely have a high-low adapter and safety cables as well. If you need any other recommendations to flat tow the Jeep just let me know.
