Can Ultra Faucets 6-Inch Drinking Faucet Be Used in a Home

Question:

I see this drinking faucet is designed for RV use. Can this be installed in a home kitchen? Is there any special I need to know for this type of installation? Thank you.

The faucets we offer for RVs are essentially identical to those used in domestic home installations but they may not share the same materials or design. RV faucets are often made with plastic rather than metal housings and they typically cost a lot less too. So long as the faucet's mount and water line fittings are the same you certainly could use one of the RV faucets in the home.

The Ultra Faucets 6-Inch Drinking Faucet # 277-000189 includes mounting hardware and has a threaded water inlet pipe that measures 7/16-inch outside diameter. This requires a 1/2-inch diameter mounting hole in your sink.
