How to Install a Kitchen Faucet

Patrick Distribution Faucet Installation

To install, use the inlet shanks to drop the new faucet and deck plate in place of your existing faucet. Tighten the included mounting nuts against the underside of the counter, and connect the hot and cold water lines. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

  • Recommended Replacement Aerator for a Camper
Roula, I wasn't able to find anything with those numbers, but we do have a replacement aerator like the Phoenix Faucets Swivel Aerator for RV Kitchen Faucets # PF281022. This aerator will fit most faucets with standard female threads but also includes 3 adapters for use with male threads.

  • Difference Between RV Faucet and Home Faucet
RV faucets, such as the Patrick Distribution RV Kitchen Faucet # 277-000014 and the many others we have available, will typically use fittings beneath the knobs/handles that are made to be compatible with the hoses that are standard in RVs. A replacement home faucet may work in your RV, but it's also possible that the fittings it uses will not fit properly, as they will be designed to work with home plumbing lines. Other than this, these replacement faucets will be very similar to what...

  • How Do Handles of RV Kitchen Teacup Faucet Get Removed

  • Can House Faucet be Used in RV Application
Home faucets and RV faucets really are basically the same thing. The RV applications are typically made from lighter materials since keeping the weight of the RV as a whole lower is beneficial. So the part # 277-000014 that you mentioned would work for you or if you found a house faucet you liked it would work just as well and use same connections. RV plumbing does not use different style connectors.

  • What Size Inlets are on RV Faucets
Hey Brian, All of the faucets we carry, like the part # 277-000014 you were looking at, have inlets with a 1/2" inner diameter and 13/16" outer diameter. The only other style would be something like the Empire Faucets # EM42HR which fits with a standard 1/2" male pipe thread fitting. You might be able to find an adapter at your local hardware or home improvement store, but we unfortunately don't have anything.

  • How to Determine the Correct Kitchen Faucet for Forest River Trailer
While we do not have any way to know exactly what kitchen faucet is a fit for your Forest River trailer, what I can do is tell you how to determine the right fit. What you need to know is the dimensions of the base you need as well as if your faucet is a one-hole, two-hole, or three-hole installation. For example, the RV Kitchen Faucet - Dual Teacup Handle - Satin Nickel # 277-000014 is a 2-hole install with a base that measures 10" wide x 2-1/4" deep. I have added a link to our entire...

  • Replacement Faucet for Pop-Up Camper with Removable Spout
The best option I have for you is the Phoenix Faucets RV Kitchen Faucet part # PF221304 for 4" mounting centers or part # PF211326 for 8" mounting centers. The Phoenix Faucets RV Kitchen Faucet unlike most other kitchen faucets has a removable spout so you can lower the top on your camper without clearance issues. Furthermore, the spout is rather low profile so this may not even be required. The RV Kitchen Faucet part # 277-000014 does not have a removable spout.

  • What is Difference Between RV and House Faucets
RV faucets are typically made from lighter weight materials and made to be less expensive in general but either can typically be used in the other application. For example the RV Kitchen Faucet part # 277-000014 that you referenced weighs about a pound.

  • Using An RV Faucet In Your Home
All faucets, like RV Kitchen Faucet - Dual Teacup Handle - Satin Nickel Item # 277-000014 for example, have a hot and a cold water connection. • Installation of RV Kitchen Faucet Water Connectors
The Patrick Distribution RV Kitchen Faucet - Dual Handle - Satin Nickel Finish # 277-000014 has the male water inlets you mentioned to fit the female connections of the water lines in your picture. The plastic connections you see on the underside of the knobs is where you will attach those hoses. Hot water line on the left as you face the sink and cold water on the right. I recommend getting a little Teflon tape from the local hardware store for a better seal on those threads, but...

  • Troubleshooting Shaking Faucet in RV After Un-Winterizing
Shaking faucets are caused by a common problem that is known as water hammer. It is caused by air trapped within the water pipes that compresses when running water to a particular faucet is rapidly turned off. Typically the solution for this is to shut off the water supply and then open all faucets to release all pressure and then shut off the faucets and turn water back on. This is most likely an issue caused by the dealer you had winterize the RV so if you are still experiencing issues...
