Question:

Im looking for a receiver for my 05 Volvo S60R. I see that you have products available for a standard S60, but mine is, as I said, the R series. Ive run into other situations where something will fit a standard S60, but not mine because of the modifications. Do you have a light/medium hitch receiver that fits my 2005 Volvo S60R?

I reached out to my contact at Curt regarding your 2005 Volvo S60R. They confirmed that the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver -1-1/4" # C12318 is a fit for your R-series vehicle.

If you will be using this hitch receiver for a bike rack or cargo carrier, you will need to use the stabilization strap # 18050.

If you will be towing with this hitch, I recommend using ball mount # C45016 along with hitch ball # A-80 for 1-7/8 inch or # A-82 for 2 inch.

For your wiring, I recommend the Upgraded Circuit Protected ModuLite with 4 Pole Harness and Hardwire Kit - Includes Tester # 119179KIT.
