Lighter Cargo Carrier Recommendation for 2018 Nissan Rogue that is 60 inches Wide

Question:
Ive seen some videos of carriers installed on rogues but am concerned about tongue weight. With a tongue weight capacity of 100lbs on the rogue doesnt say a 70lb carrier Item # C18153 leave just a paltry 30lbs of cargo? Am I getting this wrong?

You are correct. If you installed a 70 lb cargo carrier in the hitch of a vehicle with a 100 lb tongue weight capacity like your 2018 Nissan Rogue you are correct and you'd have only 30 lbs of capacity left over.
The good news is, the etrailer brand cargo carrier only weighs 48 pounds so this would leave you 52 pounds for cargo. It isn't a lot, but 52 pounds is better than 30 pounds.
I have included a video with this hitch installed on a 2018 Nissan Rogue.
