Question:
I have been towing a Equinox withA Newmar that has separate lights to Equinox with combined lights with a 7 way on the MH and a flat four plug on the car. I need to change to a 7way on MH to a 6 way on car so as to provide a power source to charge the battery on car. re wired but now tail lights and brake lights not correct. Do i need the 3 to 2 converter?

Expert Reply:
Yes, a taillight converter will combine your MH's separate stop/turn signals into the combined format used in standard 7-way wiring. Roadmaster part # RM-732 will take in these separate 3-wire RV signals and output them combined on 2 wires.
Please refer to the linked instructions and diagram. The running light circuit bypasses this item.
