How do I know what brakes I need for my 2000 Sooner 3 horse gooseneck?

From my research your 2000 Sooner gooseneck trailer likely has two 7,000 pound axles which means you need 12 inch brake assemblies. If I'm correct I recommend part # AKEBRK-7-SA which includes both the left and right assemblies. They're also self-adjusting to make things easier. They still need to be adjusted once upon install but that should be it. I've linked a video on them as well.
Before purchasing you definitely want to verify these are what you need. Check your axle capacity which should be on a sticker or plate somewhere on the axle itself. Also, measure the inner diameter and depth of your brake drums like is shown in the attached picture. If these aren't the correct brakes let me know what you've come up with and I'll find the correct parts for you.
