I have a Karavan SLT-5000 boat trailer and a 22 ft. boat with a deep V-Hull. When I put the boat on the trailer the front set of bunks do not come close to reaching the hull. I think I need to change out the brackets holding the bunks on for longer ones so they sit up high enough to support the boat. Do you have any recommendations for what kind of brackets I would need to make that work? Thanks!

For your boat trailer, I recommend the CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies # CE10002G-4. These brackets are available in different heights. These brackets are held to your trailer with u-bolts like the CE Smith U-Bolts - Galvanized - 3-13/16" Long x 3-1/16" Wide x 1/2" Diameter # CE15283GA-4.
