Good Afternoon, Do you have any thoughts on the best Tool Box or metal box we could put in one of these cargo carriers? We would like to use both options empty or place one large box in the cargo carrier, Thanks

The 20x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # e98874 has the capacity to handle many tool box options. The internal dimensions are 59-3/4 by 20 inches, so a chest style utility chest will be best.

I recommend the DeeZee Hardware Series Truck Bed Toolbox - Steel # DZ8546SB which is 60 lbs or the Aluminum # DZ8546B which is 52 lbs. If you want to go with a poly plastic option for weight and size preference, you can use the DeeZee Specialty Series Storage Box # DZ6535P. This is much lighter at 17 lbs but also is smaller and will require alternative locks like # ML1KA.
