The Titan BrakeRite SD Adapter, # T4845900, is designed to work with the Titan BrakeRite II Severe-Duty Electric-Hydraulic Actuator Kit, # T4835700. From what I have found, the plugs on it and the SD kit are unique so that you cannot plug them into the wrong spot. It is just a matter of finding the correct two plugs to plug it in line.
Since the unit is designed to help the brake controller and the actuator communicate, it should go on the set of plugs that lead into the Brake Rite SD Unit.
If you are trying to use it without the SD kit, you will notice there are 2 plugs. The one with the green rubber piece on it goes out to the actuator. The other one is in from the 7-Way trailer connector. You will need to connect the blue wire from the in plug to he brake output wire from the 7-Way. Connect the white wire to the ground from the 7-Way. And connect the black wire to the 12 volt power wire from the 7-Way.
On the out put side, the blue wire goes to the brake wire on the actuator, white to actuator ground, and black to actuator power.
