Recommended Interior Trailer LED Lighting for 12V Battery or Shoreline Power Use

Question:

I have a 24 foot cargo trailer with zero lights inside. The trailer will be used to sell merchandise at various shows. I would like to use a.c. from plugin or generator. LED light strips. I would also like an option for minimum lighting dc either from car battery or d size batteries.

For the interior lights on your 24 foot cargo trailer, I recommend the Optronics LED RV Interior Light with Switch - 18 Diodes # RVILL34 for basic lighting. Each fixture will produce lighting equivalent to a 60 watt light bulb.

For the strip lighting you referenced, I recommend the Thinline Opti-Brite LED Interior Strip Light # ILL72CB. This LED strip measures 21-7/8" long x 1" wide x 5/8" thick. The fixture will be approximately equivalent to a 40 watt bulb.

These lights are designed to be run from a 12V. If you wish to connect to AC power whether from a shore power source or generator, then I recommend the CTEK MULTI US 7002 12-Volt Universal Battery Charger w/ Pulse Maintenance and Backup Power # CTEK56353. This will charge and maintain your battery as well as providing consistent power when needed while charging or maintaining the battery or batteries if multiples connected in parallel.
