Question:
I inherited a 30 year old 14 alumacraft row boat and a trailer that looks about that old. There is no roller on the tongue of the trailer, so right now the boats keel about 1/4 the way back from the bow rests right on the tongue and is rubbing it raw. The back part of the trailer seems fine, and there is a V shaped bow cushion up in front. What would you recommend for a roller on the tongue?

The Dutton-Lainson Roller you referenced, part # DL21712 would work fine for you, but the Redline Bow Roller, part # 404800 would probably be a better fit. You would also need the mounting brackets, part # MBSPB and a shaft part # CE10727A.
