Question:

I was wondering what the tow rating would be for a 2017 Honda Accord Touring V6 with the two hitches you sell for it, and if you have a recommendation of one over the Curt Hitches? I am hoping to tow a light wave runner with it.

The maximum towing capacity of your 2017 Honda Accord is 1,000 lbs. The towing capacity of the hitch will not change the vehicle's towing capacity as the lower of the two ratings (vehicle/hitch) will always be the limiting factor. For your Accord, I recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11496 which is a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening.

In order to complete your towing setup you will also need a wiring harness and ball mount/hitch ball. For a wiring harness, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56299 which is a direct plug and play option that will not require you to cut or splice any wires. Then for a ball mount/hitch ball, I recommend the Draw-Tite Drawbar part # 3593 and the 1-7/8" Hitch Ball part # 19256 or the 2" Hitch Ball part # 19258 depending on your trailer coupler.
