Question:

I am trying to find a 2inch hitch receiver for a 2014 Honda Accord. I do not want a 1.25inch receiver. Can you help? Thanks,

For your 2014 Honda Accord, the only available trailer hitches that are confirmed to fit are all Class I hitches with 1-1/4 inch receiver openings. This is most likely because the Honda Accord does not have the tongue weight or towing capacity that a higher rated trailer hitch will offer.

I recommend the Curt Class I Sport Frame Receiver Hitch # C11496. This is a custom-fit hitch for your vehicle which means no drilling will be required during installation, although keep in mind that the exhaust will need to be temporarily lowered and the heat shield will be modified or trimmed. Once installed, I recommend looking at a hitch adapter like the Brophy # HTAD. You can insert this adapter into the 1-1/4 inch receiver to convert it to a 2 inch receiver opening. Just note that when using this or any similar hitch adapter, it will reduce the tongue weight capacity of the hitch by 50%.
