There are two accessories that I recommend for the Curt Cargo Carrier, part # C18110.
I would take a look at the etrailer Hitch Pin Alignment Collar for Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers - 1-1/4" Hitches
Item # e58ZR to make installing it easier. Then for a cargo net I recommend is part # CS54FR to secure your belongings.
