Question:

I need to get two 10 foot kayaks on top of my 2013 Honda Odyssey. There is a factory installed roof rack on top with two cross rails. Help and suggestions appreciated!

For your 2013 Honda Odyssey, I recommend two of the Malone DownLoader, part # MPG114MD. This J-Style Rack will help you load the kayak up onto the vehicle with the integrated ramps, helping to support some of the weight.

The J-loader also includes a complete boat, bow and stern tie down kit.

You can add some quick upgrades to the kit with the Thule Quick Draw, part # TH855XT and Quick-Loop, part # MPG308. The Quick Draw kit uses a pulley system to make the bow/stern tie down process quicker by eliminating the need to tie knots when tying the bow and stern down. The Quick-Loop lets you avoid running the ropes down and over the vehicle and hooking them into your hood by adding easy access reinforced nylon loops to your hood.
