Is a Pilot Hole Required to Install Torx Floor Screws # TF01150 and What Size Should it Be

Is pre drilling a pilot hole recommended for these screws? What size drill? Thanks!

Since the Torx Floor Screws # TF01150 are not self-tapping you will need to drill a small pilot hole first before putting in a screw. The screws are 1/4 inch in diameter and it is recommended to drill a 7/32 inch pilot hole. If you do not already have a T30 bit you will need one for these screws # TX430-1.
