Do I need snow chains on the front / rear / or both for my 2015 BMW X3? Tyre sizes are 245/45 R19 Front 275/ 40 R19 Rear Many thanks

Ideally you run tire chains on the front and back of your vehicle so that you get the best traction for accelerating, braking and turning. For the tire size of 245/45-19 the Thule chains part # TH01571245 then for the other size of 275/40-19 you'd want the part # TH01571247.
You'll want to check the owners manual for any tire chain restrictions as well.
