The Camco Adjustable RV Screen Door Cross Bar # CAM42183 is sturdy enough to work fine on a door with spring-loaded hinges. All three styles of this item, including the silver/white version # CAM42186 and the extra-wide black version # CAM42188 are adjustable.

Since they telescope in and out to fit a range of door widths up to 28-inches the aluminum tubing will be double-layered for strength. Included mounting screws provide a secure installation on your RV screen doors.

For very large screens you might want to install two of the cross bars to best protect the screen from accidental push-thru. Using multiple bars also makes it easier to open the door when your hands are full by simply leaning against the bars.
