I have a 2012 Ford Focus hatchback and 2 ebikes electric bicyclesthat weigh 55 pounds each. What class/size trailer hitch receiver do you recommend and what’s the most secure and easy to load bike carrier?

For your 2012 Ford Focus hatchback, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11158 which is a confirmed fit for your vehicle. I've attached a video of this installation for you.

Then for a bike rack compatible with a Class I hitch and two e-bikes, I recommend the Thule EasyFold XT 2 Bike Platform Rack # TH903202 based on the photo you sent with the fenders. This rack can hold two electric bikes up to 65 lbs each. It is able to tilt away to give you hatch access with bikes loaded and will fold up when not in use.
