Tow Bar Lighting Recommendation for 2008 Hummer H2

Question:

I have a 2005 Fleetwood Discovery 39L and a 2008 Hummer H2 SUT. I have a Blue Ox Tow Bar 10,000lbs and a secondary Brake Buddy system. Do I need the diodes for my system? I have a 7-pin on the coach with a brake controller. I want a permanent fix whereas it can be plug and go. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you don't have tow bar lighting installed on your 2008 Hummer H2 yet you will need it as well since you don't have a way to activate the lights yet.

For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.
