Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this MORryde RV Griddle Dropdown Tray. Now if you find yourself struggling to reach your griddle on your taller RV, this might be just what you need. Now this tray is going to extend 100% and then drop down and out of your RV's cargo compartment for easy access to your griddle. So this can accommodate campers with taller RVs or more mobility issues.
And then it's going to allow you to get cooking without lugging your griddle to a stand or a picnic table. Now I wanna point out these rods that you see here are not part of this tray. This is a part of a clamp set up here that I have to keep this mounted to my table. So I wanted to give you a demonstration of how this is going to work. So I do want to go over to my camera here off to the side, and that's going to allow me to extend this.
So we do have two latches here that are going to lock this in place. So right now it's in the stowed position. As you can see, it is not going to slide out on its own. So that's gonna be great when you have this put away in your compartment, you're going down the road, it's not gonna accidentally come out. Now I'm gonna lift these latches up and then that's going to allow me to extend this.
And so I am going to pull this all the way out. And so as you can hear, it's locked in the fully-extended position. So again, we're 100% extended. And then to drop this down, you see this latch right here, I'm just going to pull that back and then, then that's going to allow me to lift this handle. And as I'm lifting this handle, the tray is dropping down.
So let me make sure that this is going to get into frame. Looks like it's going to. Obviously this is going to work a whole lot easier when you have this actually mounted in your compartment. So this is what it's gonna look like when it's fully extended and fully dropped down. And the tray can handle any griddle up to 225 pounds. And while we're here, let me give you the measurements of that tray. Let me see if I can get my tape measure here so you can see. So looking at the overall, well at actually the width of just the tray itself, looks like we're sitting right about 21 1/4 inches wide. And then looking at the length of the depth, we're sitting right at about 14 3/4 inches deep. And then we do have a gap here that I measured before our time together. It's probably kind of hard. Yeah, you can see it pretty good there. This gap is about 1 1/8 inches apart here, that gap. Then we have a hole here and a hole here that you can run hoses out and it's about a one inch hole there. So let me go ahead then and retract this. So to lift this tray back up, there is a a button here that I'm gonna push and that's going to allow me to unlock it. So as you can see, that's going to allow me to then lift this back up. And then if you watch here, it's gonna lock into place just like that. So we're locked into place and now I'm going to then lift up the latches there. And that's going to allow me to push that right back into place. And now it's locked. So pretty smooth operation, very easy to use. And let me go ahead and give you an overhead view just so you can see what this looks like from overhead. And then going back to my wide view here, let me see if I can give you some overall measurements. So looking at the width, we're 25 inches wide. And then looking at the length, which you probably won't be able to see too well there. So measuring at the longest points here, we're right at about 21 3/4 inches long. And then the overall height, this is going to be the tallest point. So we're about 9 3/4 inches tall. And this does feature a durable steel exterior. This has a black powder coat finish so this is gonna hold up really well for you. This is gonna be a bolt-on installation. This does not include any hardware. You are gonna get this bracket here, but no hardware to actually mount this. So that is something you would have to source locally. And again, these are just the clamps here. This is not part of the tray, just so you're aware of that. Anyway, I'm really impressed with it, just with how smoothly it operates, how easy it is to use. So if you have a compartment that's just a little bit out of your reach and you're looking to get easy access to your griddle, this is really gonna be a great option for you to consider from MORryde. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thanks for joining me.
Morryde touts this product as "Fits most 24" griddles". This is not true. I have a 22" Blackstone griddle that would not fit on this product. I then purchased a 17" Blackstone griddle since my 22 wouldnt fit. The 17" Blackstone griddle will not fit either. Do not by this product if you have a Blackstone griddle. Contrary to Morryde's claims, it will not fit.

Sorry to hear it wouldn't fit your Blackstone griddles, Daniel. Not to be a jerk, but when something says it "fits most" of something, that does not mean it will fit all of those things. This is why MORryde said this instead of "fits all griddles" or "fits Blackstone griddles". There will always be outliers that are the exception. That said, do you need to get this returned? I can get that started if you do. I will definitely have return shipping waived in this case as you clearly found out something we were not aware of. Also, can I ask why it didn't fit? Was it the propane connection? Or something else?
