The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-307-47 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2017 Ram 1500. The springs will do a great job of adding support to the existing rear suspension on your truck, as well as improving the handling and overall ride. These will replace the factory bump stops on your truck and provide the smoothest unloaded ride quality for jounce-style springs. With that being said, as with any jounce-style system, they can cause a bit of a rough jolt when hitting a large bump or traveling over rocks.

If your Ram does not have the factory Air Suspension system, and you plan on off-roading often, a better option might be with air springs like the Air LIft AirLIft 1000 # AL60818. These 1,000 pound capacity air springs will install inside your truck's rear coil spring suspension and allow you to manually adjust the air pressure to give you a better ride, whether or not you are hauling a load.
