My gtw is rated exactly at 18k so i am unsure if to get the 18k or 21k.

Because your Gross Towing Weight is 18K, I recommend going with the Curt Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box - Lippert 1621 - 21,000 lbs # LC158778 over the Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC328492 so you wouldn't be constantly running at maximum capacity. The increased capacity will not allow you to tow more, but will ease the wear on the pin box because it is rated higher than its operating weight. Due to the air ride adjustability this higher capacity does not mean a more rigid ride.
