Question:
I have a 2018 Subaru Forester 2.5i Premium and I am considering the Draw-Tite 2inch receiver Item # 75876. Before I purchase it, I would like to know if the Rocky Mounts Monorail Item # RKY10004 has enough clearance to work with this receiver and my vehicle. Thanks!

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Class III, part # 75876 will have approximately 5 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthest part of the bumper. This is plenty of room for the RockyMounts MonoRail, part # RKY10004 to install and clear the bumper. When installed and folded down, the nearest part of the MonoRail is about 11 inches away from the hitch pin hole, and folded up, the closest part of the rack is 6-1/4 inches, so you'll be close to your vehicle, but still OK.
