I have a 2011 ram 3500 truck and looking at the demco slider and under bed rail system. Getting confused about what is needed to purchase. Trailer will weight about 10 to 11k gvw.

To install the Demco Hijacker Autoslide fifth wheel hitch part # DM8550034 that you referenced in the bed of your 2011 Ram 3500 short bed all you need is the rail kit part # DM8552016-71 which is a confirmed custom fit rail kit for your truck.
You want to go with a custom install kit over a universal one as it will minimize drilling and install time considerably.
