Question:
I have A Keytsone Raptor RP300 Toy Hauler. I have a F-350 w/6 1/2foot bed. I like the idea of the Trail Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box. I also need to add a couple inches of clearance between the truck and RV. Is this longer than the original? Thanks,

The length of the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC158778 should be about the same as your OEM pin box. This is a direct replacement/upgrade for a Lippert 1621 pin box and is rated for 21,000 lbs.
You can verify the length comparison by measuring your current pin box from the forwardmost bolt hole row to the king pin. For the Trailair Air Ride that you referenced that measurement is 19-1/2 inches as is demonstrated in the attached photo.
Typically when you have a short bed truck like the 6-1/2 foot bed on your F-350 you will want to go with a sliding 5th wheel hitch like the Curt A20 # C16541 or the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 21K # DM8550035 which will provide an additional 11 inches or 14 inches of clearance respectively.
If you would rather just swap out your pin box then we actually have a solution for that as well which is less of a hassle than having to deal with a heavier sliding 5th wheel hitch. You can replace your current pin box with a Reese Sidewinder which moves the pivoting point of your towing setup from the king pin 22 inches back to the rotating turret.
If you have a 1621 pin box then you can use part # RP34FR rated for 20K.
These options come with auniversal wedge to lock the Sidewinder king pin in the 5th wheel hitch head, but there are some custom wedges that fit better in certain 5th wheel hitches. There are some things that the Sidewinder pin boxes are not compatible with as well so if you can let me know what 5th wheel hitch you have then I can check compatibility.
