Filling the Valterra RV Water Tank

Is this tank filled by the 3/8 inch ports as well? Is it possible to install a large opening filler port?

Expert Reply:
One of the 3/8 inch ports is open on the Valterra RV Water Tank # R8030 and is plugged by the red cap like you see in the accompanying photo; this is where the tank would be filled. You would not want to modify the opening to fill up the tank, instead what you can do is use the Valterra ABS Tank Fill Kit with Threaded Cap # RK909 to make filling the tank easier.
