Recommended Replacement Fantastic Vent Fan Motor

Question:

The model number on the motor is 6504-414 dated 1/06. Are these older, large motors still available or is this the only replacement? I have read these are noisier than the older ones.

If the motor you have on your Fan-Tastic roof vent is a low-speed (7 rpm) then we no longer have the replacement motor that you need. This is fairly unlikely though. Most likely you need the 17 RPM part # FVK6010-81 or # FVK6010-80 which are more common. You should see the RPM printed on the motor. I don't know about the comparison with noise level as the volume was not a tested element by the manufacturer.
