Question:
Can I use a class 1 trailer hitch to tow a jetski?
asked by: David C
Expert Reply:
If your personal watercraft and trailer weighs less than 2,000 lbs and the tongue weight of the trailer weighs less than 200 lbs you could use a Class I hitch.
For your 2008 Honda CR-V I would recommend you get a Class III hitch like the Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch # 87440, as this hitch has higher towing capacities so it could tow your PWC trailer and if you decide to pull a heavier trailer down the road you would be able to that as well.
