  • Where to Measure to Determine Correct Rise/Drop for Ball Mount
Since there aren't any zero rise/drop ball mount options (shockingly) you might verify that your setup was measured in the right spots. You'd want to measure from the bottom of the coupler lip down to the ground when the trailer is level and then from the top of your hitch opening down to the ground. The part # D320 has a drop of 2 inches and comes with the tab needed for friction sway control. This probably would be close enough to what you'd need.

  • Shank Length of Curt C45311 Class III Ball Mount
The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the gusset welded onto the Curt # C45311 is 4 inches, as shown in the provided photo. If you're wanting something with a longer shank for additional clearance, I'd recommend the Curt # C45270 which would offer a similar rise/drop but with a shank that's 8 inches long, measured from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the ball platform. The ball mount is rated for 7500 lbs. I've also provide a photo of this ball...

  • What Ball Mount Is Needed for a 4x8 U-Haul Cargo Trailer with a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe
The etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver part # E98841 when we installed it on a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe was 13" from the ground to the top inside edge of the receiver tube. I called U-Haul and they said that the coupler height of the 4x8 cargo trailer is around 16" from the ground to the bottom of the coupler while level therefore you will need to use the Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches part # C45311 with the 2" Hitch Ball part # A-90.

  • How to Determine Ball Mount Rise or Drop for 2018 Ford Edge
Thanks for the order of the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75234 and when we test fit it on a 2018 Ford Edge, you are correct that the distance from the top of the receiver to the ground was 12-1/2". In regards to the height of the Draw-Tite # 36501, when we test fit it on a 2009 Ford Escape the top of its receiver to the ground was 16-3/4", though that's not a height you will want to use to determine the ball mount you'll need. In order to choose the correct ball mount, there are a couple...

  • Compatibility of Curt Trailer Hitch and Additional Towing Accessories for 2016 BMW X1
I will go down the list of products that you mentioned in terms of their compatibility with each other. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13303 referenced in your question is a Class III trailer hitch with a 2 inch receiver opening. It is confirmed to fit your 2016 BMW X1 and will work very well. The Curt Euro Style Drawbar # C45572 that you also referenced is a Class II ball mount designed for 1-1/4 inch receivers. This will not be compatible with the 2 inch receiver on the above...

  • Ball Mount with 4 inch Drop, 2 inch Ball, and 10k Weight Capacity
I have a similar solution that will work great for you but we don't have exactly what you are looking for with a hitch ball installed as well. So instead the best way to accomplish what you are looking for is with a fixed ball mount part # C45311 which has the 4 inches of drop, 10k capacity, and fits a 2 inch hitch. For a 2 inch ball to then fit this you'd want the # A-90 which also has a 10k capacity and you'd be set.
