There is only currently one hitch option for your 2006 Scion xB. It is the Curt Class 1 # C11487. This has a 1-1/4 inch receiver tube for a ball mount or accessory like a bike rack.
If you are planning on towing a light trailer, I recommend the ball mount # C45521, pin and clip # F-4, and Hitch ball # A-80. You will also need the wiring harness # C56030 which will plug into the factory wiring harness behind the trim panels on each side of your cargo area.
