Recommended License Plate Light for 1-1/4 Inch Hole on Bumper

Question:

I have a step bumper with a 1 1/4 inch hole for license plate light. I like the LPL 12CB light and A11GLPB adapter over the LPL11CB plug in light but wonder if my hole is too big for the adapter for the LPL 12CB light...thanks

The Optronics LED Trailer License Plate Light # LPL12CB, along with the Ear Mount Bracket # A11GLPB referenced in your question, should work very nicely with the 1-1/4 inch hole you mentioned having on your trailer. The ear mount bracket has a total length of 2-1/4 inches and a mounting hole dimension of 1-3/4 inches. This will mount nicely over the hole that you referenced. I have included an image of this ear mount, with the dimensions labeled, that you might find helpful.

In combination with the waterproof light, this will do a great job of illuminating your license plate. I have attached a short installation video on this product that you can also check out.
