I AM LOOKING AT THE Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller I HAVE A 2012 JEEP UNLIMITED SAHARA. COULDYOU TELL ME IF THE BRAKE CONTROLLER HAS A PLUG FOR THE BRAKE CONTROLLER PORT ON MY JEEP?

Your 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited does not have the factory brake controller wiring harness. The only way to install a brake controller such as the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 (Great Choice) would be to hardwire the controller into your vehicles wiring harness. Though certainly not as easy as just plugging a harness in, hardwiring a brake controller is not too difficult of a task. I have attached an installation video of the controller installed on a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited for reference.

You will however need a few things to install the controller such as a 20-amp circuit breaker like part # PK54220PL and a circuit tester like part # PTW2993.
