Question:
I have a 2011 Nissan Pathfinder with the factory 4 flat connector. Im interested in installing an RV 7 pin/4 pin combo connector for use with a brake controller. When putting in my vehicle information the only tow wiring product that comes up is what looks like a replacement 4 flat connector harness Item # HM43575. Can you recommend a list of hardware I would need to change my 4 flat to a 7/4 combo? Thanks a ton.

If your trailer does not have brakes your best and easiest route would be to use the adapter part # 37185. Your 4-way plugs into it's 4-way and you have both a 4-way and 7-way with just taillight functions. If you need trailer brakes you'll need quite a few more things.
To star you'd need the part # 118281 for a 7-way. But you'd need to swap out the socket to the part # HM40975 as it will install and give you both the 4 and 7-way.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P3 Brake Controller part # 90195. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes. This will be the last brake controller you buy. It can easily be transferred to future vehicles as well.
