Question:
I have a 2015 Ford F250 with towing package. I just purchased Pollak 7-way To 12 Volt Power Outlet Adapter. I need to get a small 200 watt heater dogs/winter into the covered space in the bed area. I need a 12 volt connection that goes to a small inverter to power the heater. I would like to use the 7 point connector that is factory installed in the side of the bed. Ford has some restrictions/procedures for getting 12V to that plug. Do you know what to do to get this plug to supply 12 volts? There is a lot of confusion about this issue.

For some reasons a lot of vehicle manufacturers don't complete the 12 volt pin of the 7-way connector. The easiest way to go about doing this is to run a length of 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) through a breaker like # 9510 to the positive post of the battery.
This allows you to bypass all of the factory wiring issues that you mentioned.
Once done the part # PK11896 will be able to install in your 7-way and provide 12 volts.
