Question:
I have purchased numerous items from you in the past, and your pricing and customer service has been superb. I am in the process of buying a 2011 Honda Accord Crosstour AWD 3.5L V6, and want to know what type of transmission and oil cooler you recommend for this vehicle. My trailer and motorcycle combined will equal the 1500 lbs towing capacity, and when we travel long distances for vacations/bike rallys, I want to make it as easy as possible on my new car. What all would you recommend?

Congratulations on the new car. I will be happy to help you find some coolers that will fit your needs. For a transmission cooler, you can go with something small that will not take up a lot of space. I recommend the Derale Series 9000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler, # D13611, which measures 11 inches across, 3-7/8 inches tall, and 1-1/4 inches deep. This cooler is rated for up to 2,000 pounds so it would work well for your application.
For an oil cooler, I recommend the Derale Stacked-Plate Engine Oil Cooler Kit, # D15605. This kit has multiple threads to be compatible with different engines and has 2 common O-ring diameters, 2-3/4, and 3-1/2. The stacked plate design is also small and will not take up much space in the engine compartment.
You might also be interested in the Derale 2-Pass Tube-Fin Power Steering Cooler, # D13200, to protect and increase the life of the power steering pump.
I have included a link to our FAQ article on transmission coolers and a video that shows a typical installation for you to view.
