I have a 2016 Chevy 1500 Silverado 4x4. I plan to tow my truck behind a 38 foot diesel pusher Tiffin Phaeton. What tow bar system and components would you recommend? Thanks

For your 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4, I have the parts you need to make flat towing easy.

I recommend you start with the Roadmaster MX Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-3176-3 and use the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520. You will also need the safety cables # RM-645.

For your wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 which will give you a clean connection at the front of your truck and allow you to use the factory wiring without issue. I also recommend the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch for Towed Vehicle w/ Supplemental Braking System # RM-766 to give you a simple push button disconnect.

For your braking system, I recommend the Air Force One # SM99243 because your Tiffin Phaeton has air brakes. Using a system designed for air brakes prevents false braking on the toad vehicle. You will also need the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751463 for your adjustable pedals.
