Question:

I have an Outback and am thinking about using T@B tear trailer. Is there anything I can use to allow me continue to use my Yakima hitch bike rack? Thanks

There is a possible solution but you will need to see if it is compatible with your whole setup. The Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk # CC-275 will install on A-frame trailers and allow you to install a bike rack approved for use on an RV. If you have the Yakima LongHaul # Y02476 (which is approved for RV use) then you could use them.

The Bike Bunk is compatible with A-frames that are 12" - 52" wide (see attached photo) and has bracket mounting dimensions that are 8" tall x 4-3/4" wide x 2" deep. You will want to make sure that the place you mount the Bike Bunk is compatible and that your bike rack will also be free from hitting your Outback. The Bike Bunk will hold your bike rack about 33-1/2" above the top of your A-frame.
