Question:

I have- 2004 Montana 5th wheel mod# 2955 which does not come with a rear bumper. I wish to use my bicycle receiver type mount rack but want to make certain the Part# 13703 with work. The width is 71 or so between the camper frame members but I do not see anything substantial on the camper to attached the reciever tube support to? Any ideas? thanks

If you look at the installation instructions for the Adjustable RV Trailer Hitch, # 13703, linked for reference, you will see that the hitch attaches to the frame rails but not at the receiver tube. The side brackets can be bolted or welded to I-beam, C-Channel, or box frames. If you choose the welding option, the installation should be done by a qualified professional welder.

Since you will be using this hitch for a bike rack, you will also need a stabilization strap to be in compliance with the Curt warranty requirements. You can use # 18050.
