need a 2 1/2inch pin lock for a 20012 Ford F450 receiver. Didnt seem products I looked at would work. What do you recommend?

For a standard pin lock for a 2-1/2-inch hitch you will need a lock with a long enough center span to accommodate that wider hitch size. DeadBolt offers the extra-long pin lock # e98881, shown on the linked page, which has a center span of 3-5/8-inches. This will work fine on your 2-1/2-inch hitch.
