Could CTEK Battery-Health Indicator Cable # CTEK56382 Be Mounted Outside Battery Box

Question:
I actually ordered this for my Jayco Travel Trailer. Im wondering if it is weatherproof so that I can hang it out of my battery box for checking easily from the outside of the trailer.

I wouldn't recommend mounting the # CTEK56382 where it would get direct rainfall on it, but the cap is designed to be weatherproof and keep rain out so you'd be fine doing what you are looking to do.
