my mech . wants to run wire from converter to batt. under the veh. I want it inside , so, Im thinking of running it myself inside . what gauge is this wire ,and how long is it . ? Ill probably be buying your kit, and let him do it . but before I do that ,I want the wire run inside. I have a 2009 Rav. 4. thank you Ill be getting that particular wire from auto parts store.

The Curt trailer wiring harness # C56165 comes with 20 feet of 12 gauge wire. This might be enough to run the power wire through the interior of your 2009 Toyota RAV4 depending on where it is routed. Otherwise you would need additional wire like you said such as # 12-1-1 sold by the foot. If you get wire locally make sure it is 12 gauge.
